New features like the all new MaxPlay™ imager and video processor, 2-HD™ lens shift and Dynamic Black™ automatic iris make the installation easier and faster as well as a picture quality that is nothing short of fabulous. The HDP1200 displays almost all current formats including Blu-Ray, DVDs and PVRs.

MaxPlay™ is a new type of imager and processor so refined it takes little or no calibration over the years to keep playing an outstanding picture. The 2-HD lens shift allows the projector to be mounted in places it could never be mounted before without using keystone to correct the picture which always loses resolution.

Dynamic Black™ automatic iris adjusts the iris to give you the optimum picture quality of maximum black level or maximum brightness depending on the source material and room conditions. Most older high-end projectors require that their manual iris be adjusted manually or with a remote control. On the new Knoll projectors, the iris adjusts automatically.

The HDP1200 features a native resolution of 1920 X 1080, and displays all ATSC HDTV formats including 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Future proof with HDMI 1.3, it supports Deep Color™ to display 1.07 billion colors without color banding artifacts and Brilliant Color™ for the smoothest picture you have ever seen.

Every HDP1200 is calibrated at Knoll Systems factory and set to 6500° (D65) to give you true cinema experience right out of the box.
